I was born in Texas, but spent all the important growing up years in Eugene, Oregon. In my former life, I worked as a system administrator/project manager for various technical firms, but that all changed with a return to college and photography. I built my background in photojournalism with training at the University of Oregon, working as a photographer and photo editor at the Oregon Daily Emerald in Eugene and as an intern at The Bulletin in Bend, Oregon. Now I currently work as a freelance photo assistant in Portland, Oregon for various commercial, editorial and studio photographers both around town and abroad.

I am proficient in many different lighting systems and camera systems including but not limited to:

• Hasselblad, Canon, Nikon, Phase One
• Speedotron, Hensel, Profoto, Dynalight, Paul Buff, Elinchrom, Broncolor

I am also available to work as a digital tech for your set. I have my own gear that I prefer you rent for me but I can also work with yours. I can manage the digital files from capture to delivery, trouble shoot and resolve any issues that may arise and can post process and composite on set if the job requires.

Most importantly I can lift things and work hard till the job is done.
